How To Play Geirle

Geirle is a quick daily Welsh word challenge designed for regular practice.

Goal​

Find the target Welsh word in as few guesses as possible.

How a round works​

  1. Enter a valid Welsh word guess.
  2. Review tile feedback after each guess.
  3. Use the feedback to narrow the next guess.

Reading feedback​

  • Correct letter in correct position: keep it fixed in future guesses.
  • Correct letter in wrong position: use it elsewhere.
  • Letter not in word: avoid it unless duplicated letters are possible.

Learning tips​

  • Start with words that cover common Welsh letters.
  • Track repeated letter patterns you see across rounds.
  • Play daily for better vocabulary retention.
